There are two now vacant shops open for rent and within the next day or two, there will be two brand new shops for rent in the cul-de-sac. Rent is 800L per week for 200 prim. We have great traffic, have fantastic hunts for most major holidays and do extra promotions for our shops when you have a sale on Crush Row. Excellent builds, too.

Best thing since sliced bread. The Underoos Edition!

There are very few things about my childhood that brought me more joy than my Underoos. I had Spiderman, Superman and pretty much every superhero you can think of. You see, I was convinced that everytime I went swimming, which was pretty often, I became Aqua Man. So, when I discovered these on SL, it really turned my frown upside down. I’m old-fashioned in the sense that when I find something I like, I stick with it right to the very end. Clothes are no different. I may not like every single shirt and pair of pants that the thinkers at Valiant release, but a lot of it, I do. On an unrelated but still very exciting note: Rumour is proud to announce that the bad ass Toe’d Up (live rock band hailing from Scotland) pulled off a hell of a hot set this past Sunday to celebrate the New Year and can be expected for regular monthly gigs. We at Doll City and Crush Row are in the process of purchasing a second sim. We are selective about the shops and room is limited, but if you are interested in joining the ranks of House of Nyla, AOHARU, *BOOM*, Sn@tch, Whimsy, Crash Couture, Truth, Aitui, Faux Posh, Calypso Giano and many others, please drop a notecard with photo examples of your designs to either Twisted Vendetta, Babyhoney Bailey or Carissa Crimson to be considered for one of the new shops on the second sim. Demand is high and we’ve already booked a majority of them, but are now opening it to the entire grid for consideration.

I may not know much about the wide world of SL fashion, but I do know what I like. There are three factors that determine whether I like something enough to wear it everyday until I find something new or am told at gunpoint to change my clothes, which more often than not, it’s the latter. 1. Does it look good? 2. Is it reasonably priced? 3. Have I seen five people within a week wearing it or blogging it? Pretty much everything from *Valiant* fits those three requirements. It does look good. It is reasonably priced. C’mon, an entire suit for only 250L! And no, I haven’t seen five other people wearing it or blogging it within this week. So, I give *Valiant* two thumbs up and a teabag for good measure.

Next up on my blogging agenda. The very talented and wee Keeley Huet recently rocked out with her, yeah, you get the picture, with her partner Geo. There was very much rockage (no Freebird, but a promise for some next time!) in the house when they took the stage to perform at the Santir Art & Music Center in Ambrosius. Actually, they just wrapped their set up two minutes ago and I was so stoked that I had to blog it immediately. Here is a poorly shot photo that I took.

The photo, in no way, represents the massive amounts of rockage that occured, because like I said, it isn’t one of my best shots. I like the stand-out song for me had to be their cover of “Creep” from Radiohead. They also belted out a fantastic slower version of Hot Chip’s “Ready for the Floor”, Rhianna’s “Umbrella” and many, many more. As a rule, I like most cover bands. Call me crazy, but a cover band is an homage to a lot of great music. Once in awhile, Bho and I will check out our local cover band, Yummy, at the local bar and they’re really good. However, they aren’t kicking huge amounts of ass on Second Life, are they? No, they’re not. Therefore, they didn’t get to be in my blog. Keeley (sorry, I forgot the name of your alt that you used) and Geo did an incredible job and I highly recommend everyone check them out at their next gig.

Third on the Twisted agenda for the day: I made my first sculptie tree. It was a pain in the ass, but I think it turned out alright. If you like it, feel free to buy it. If you don’t like it, that’s okay, too.

Update about my cyber stalker named Anabella. Please read this.

I recently received a comment from Anabella with the same IP address (silly, rabbit, tricks are for kids and I already traced you to where you like. Funny thing, I lived by Enxuto for 6 months!) and e-mail that she’d been using all along, but here’s a new twist. She went ahead and registed http://www.babyhoneybailey.wordpress.com and to me, that’s taking the stalking to an all new and even more pathetic level. In the comment she left (twice) she stated that I should tune into the blog to read all about her (posing as Babyhoney) adventures (editted). That’d be really funny, considering the real Babyhoney doesn’t date on SL, if not for the fact that this has been going on for two months. So, I’ve had enough. I’ve filed a report with Cogent and it’s funny that I lived in Brazil for 6 months, but can still e-mail a friend who was an adminstrator at UNICAMP and put a stop to this once and for all with just one e-mail, which has already been sent. I will not sit idly by while some psychopath has her fun at other people’s expense. It’s become tiresome and more than a little lame.

Also, I have never been to Finland, but I hear it’s especially nice this time of year, especially for ridiculous children that have nothing better to do with their time. Identity theft, even in the most minor situation, is taken very seriously and since it occurs on the internet, is considered a federal offense. I have filed a report with the Lindens, with WordPress, with Cogent and with UNICAMP and I have no problem at all pushing back when I’m being stalked, as well as watching Babyhoney being pulled into it, as well. Are you having fun now, Miss Campinas and Mr. Finland? I know I am. I do find it pretty damn hilarious that someone in the same small Brasilian town that I lived for 6 months would wind up stalking me and even funnier that UNICAMP wasn’t far from where I slept almost every night. It really is a small world, isn’t it?

What would possess someone to invade another’s privacy and resort to stalking complete strangers? Were they not hugged enough as children? Did the other kids not want to play with them at recess time? Did they wet the bed too much? I don’t know and really don’t want to know what their major malfunctions are, as long as they cease what they think they’re trying to do.

If anyone receives or has received a comment from either myself or Babyhoney Bailey on WordPress, specifically from the following IP addresses (a third is from D.C., by the way) 200.8.21.221, 200.8.179.175, 190.142.64.186 , or 38.100.42.25 or with the following emails: Christianne@hotmail.com, petesaunders@hotmail.com or anabella@hotmail.com, then KNOW they aren’t coming from either Babyhoney or myself and instead, this stalker(s) we seemed to have picked up somehow. Please don’t feed the idiots, people. Also, Babyhoney did NOT register babyhoneybailey.wordpress.com and anything to be posted there is from our South American stalker. I really hate this kind of shit and it feels like an invasion of privacy to just have to deal with it, but I’m done and this is the last straw. I’m sorry for anyone who has been effected by this stupidity and hopefully, WordPress, the Lindens, and their service provider Cogent  and UNICAMP will help put a stop to this once and for all.

Something not new.

Relax is one of those stores that don’t sell shirts for guys with sculptie collars or sleeves, seem to photosource their textures, and I don’t really care, because the shirt looks good enough and is cheap enough not to worry over. They’re not going to win any awards for Best Shading By a Designer or Created Their Own Sculptie Collar, but for 100L, you can’t go wrong and the board shorts are pretty sweet, too.

On a lighter and definitely more humorous note: my cyberstalker, “Anabella” recently contacted Frolic Mills for “dirt” (who wants nothing to do with the situation) on Babyhoney and has threatened to create an Anti-Twist and Babyhoney blog, if I don’t take down the two posts pertaining to the copyright infringement situation. Well, I’m not going to on the grounds that it’s MY blog and I can do with it as I see fit and will not be bullied or threatened by anyone into doing otherwise. So, if you would like to post any dirt on Babyhoney or I, feel free to do so in comments here. Just so you know, though, I do bathe at least once a day, do brush my teeth at least twice a day, brush my hair when it needs it, drive very fast, and I also eat a lot of fast food, so you can’t use any of that against me. Hey, I’m trying to turn an annoying situation into one worth laughing at. I don’t take myself very seriously and don’t expect anyone else to either. We’re both here just trying to have a good time and maybe make some green along the way, if we can. If someone wants to borrow my stalker,  feel free to drop me a message and make me an offer on her.
