Sample of Valiant’s New Releases exclamationpoint

I’m old-fashioned in the sense that when I find something I like, I stick with it right to the very end. Clothes are no different. I may not like every single shirt and pair of pants that the thinkers at Valiant release, but a lot of it, I do. They just released a buttload of new stuff and it’s worth checking out and joining the group, while you’re at it.

*Valiant* Wavie Polo Shirt and Tshirt (225L)

Belleza skin

Argrace Beanie – medium short – dark brown

FNKY! Filthy Fives – Faded Blue (extra ripped)

While I’m at it – the St. Pattys Day Clover Hunt ends tomorrow at midnight SLT! The top designers of SL have put out a lot of freebies and dollarbies, just for you. Also, check out all the new shops we have on the sim, including my very own HighFi, where I just released a new pair of boots that are pretty good, if I do say so myself.

I may not know much about the wide world of SL fashion, but I do know what I like. There are three factors that determine whether I like something enough to wear it everyday until I find something new or am told at gunpoint to change my clothes, which more often than not, it’s the latter. 1. Does it look good? 2. Is it reasonably priced? 3. Have I seen five people within a week wearing it or blogging it? Pretty much everything from *Valiant* fits those three requirements. It does look good. It is reasonably priced. C’mon, an entire suit for only 250L! And no, I haven’t seen five other people wearing it or blogging it within this week. So, I give *Valiant* two thumbs up and a teabag for good measure.

Next up on my blogging agenda. The very talented and wee Keeley Huet recently rocked out with her, yeah, you get the picture, with her partner Geo. There was very much rockage (no Freebird, but a promise for some next time!) in the house when they took the stage to perform at the Santir Art & Music Center in Ambrosius. Actually, they just wrapped their set up two minutes ago and I was so stoked that I had to blog it immediately. Here is a poorly shot photo that I took.

The photo, in no way, represents the massive amounts of rockage that occured, because like I said, it isn’t one of my best shots. I like the stand-out song for me had to be their cover of “Creep” from Radiohead. They also belted out a fantastic slower version of Hot Chip’s “Ready for the Floor”, Rhianna’s “Umbrella” and many, many more. As a rule, I like most cover bands. Call me crazy, but a cover band is an homage to a lot of great music. Once in awhile, Bho and I will check out our local cover band, Yummy, at the local bar and they’re really good. However, they aren’t kicking huge amounts of ass on Second Life, are they? No, they’re not. Therefore, they didn’t get to be in my blog. Keeley (sorry, I forgot the name of your alt that you used) and Geo did an incredible job and I highly recommend everyone check them out at their next gig.

Third on the Twisted agenda for the day: I made my first sculptie tree. It was a pain in the ass, but I think it turned out alright. If you like it, feel free to buy it. If you don’t like it, that’s okay, too.

Thus ends another day in the life of Twisted Vendetta. Have a good night.
